Jacqueline Allan
Hello, my name is Jacqueline Allan. At home in British Columbia I serve as President of the Cornbury Society. I have been involved with the initial setup of a new gender clinic in British Columbia as part of an educational working group. Along with others I have also participated in several talks to groups about transgendered issues. My own journeys include spiritual/energy work and my evolution as a trans woman. For my Self, balance in my life is very important and Esprit has helped me with that possibility. I was the Chairwoman for 2005 and now again in 2006. I was introduced to Esprit in 2000 as one of the original scholarship recipients. The scholarship enabled me to attend Esprit and greatly change the course of my life. In order to give something back to Esprit, I have been on the Committee since 2001, serving in various capacities. As the Chairperson for Esprit 2006 I look forward to a very successful event for all who attend. It has been an honour to serve on the Committee and in turn help those who attend Esprit. |
