Joyce Colson
I am an M-to-F legal trnas woman who was originally born a male in 1948. I served in Vietnam 1968-69, attended college, and worked for a school district for 28.5 years before retiring in 2001. I have worked part time since then by owning my own computer repair business. I was married for 32.5 years to a loving, caring angelic wife who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2005. Her death triggered my transition, finally allowing me to express my true self. I had kept Joyce buried and crushed into suffering silence and pseudo non-existence for too long. Since January 2006 I have been on female hormones, legally changed my name and gender, and had dual orchiectomy surgery. For 2007, Joyce's duties will include Security,
Volunteer Coordinator, and assisting at the Front Desk. |
