Jana L. Ekdahl, (LMHC)

Jana Ekdahl is a psychotherapist and gender specialist working in the Puget Sound area. Jana works within the LGBT (lesbian, gay bisexual, and transgender) community. She works with clients identifying along the full spectrum of gender variance, their partners/spouses, family members, and allies. Jana has served on the board of directors for Ingersoll Gender Center and coordinated the gender program for Seattle Counseling Service for several years. She appeared in the European version The Sex Change Capital of the World and on an Oprah Winfrey show, The 11 Year Old Who Wants a Sex Change, about transgender children She currently facilitates the Spirit of Gender group, for those in the transgender community seeking to expand their exploration to a higher and deeper level.

We will explore the concept of spirituality and we will move, utilizing the Five Rhythms of Gabrielle Roth. This is something all of us can do, either sitting in a chair, standing in place, or dancing around the room. This session is designed to help you tune into your own internal rhythms and allow the realm of the spirit to move you.
