Ann Grogan

Ann Grogan is President and owner of San Francisco's ROMANTASY Exquisite Corsetry, the oldest custom corset design business in the US established in 1990, and first with a corset website in 1995, www.romantasy.com. Her team of four corset makers provide the world's widest selection of styles, and Ann personally coaches students in wearing corsets to achieve permanent waist reduction and feminize the figure. She also conducts Gender Image Salons in her home, featured as part of a two-hour Discovery Health Channel program this spring, 2005. Ann has also appeared on ABC-TV's "World News Tonight," Discovery TV Travel Channel, HBO (US and England), and the Maury Povich Show. She is happily looking forward to her return for the fourth time to Esprit 2007!

How to Get Read in Ten Seconds Flat: Women's Perspectives on Enhancing the MTF Image Description

This is a brand new lecture-Power Point presentation-demonstration by Ann Grogan, President of San Francisco's well-known and respected ROMANTASY Exquisite Corsetry. Three models will demonstrate ten key ways that women responding to Ann's 2006-7 research, identify MTFs when they step out in public. Slides will show the "before" and "after" postures and presentations to demonstrate the often-small or subtle distinctions in male, versus, female posture, image, or gesture. Stylish Embrace: Corsetry for Fashion and Discipline Description

This is a brand new lecture-Power Point presentation-demonstration by Corset Mistress Par Excellence, Ms. Ann Grogan, President of San Francisco's well-known and respected ROMANTASY Exquisite Corsetry. Exquisitely corseted and waist-trained to 18.5", Ann and her partner Rona will offer a sexier and edgy discussion of the unknown erotic and romantic elements of the history, construction, and wearing of corsets. Many sensual photographs of corsets will be viewed as amazing facts are revealed. Ann also briefly explores techniques for those in a consensual dominant-submissive relationship to engage in serious waist-training and safe lacing-down practices. Selecting the proper style corset is essential to successful waist-training, as are the degree of lacing, proper nutrition strategies, and waist-specific exercises. Audience members will be invited to demonstrate various lacing techniques and essential exercises. Ann's long-version Power Point presentation "Stylish Embrace," and her cd book, "Corset Magic: A Fun Guide to Trim Your Waist and Figure," will both be available for sale after the workshop or at ROMANTASY's resource vending exhibit.

We at ROMANTASY just returned from our first IFGE gender conference in Philly (see photo). We loved our entire experience, from touristing downtown for a day (and of course, trying out our first famous cheesesteaks!), to the hub-bub and excitement at our conference vending exhibit, and in the two classes we presented. We met our next waist-training student Debbie (photo above right), and renewed our acquaintance with corset enthusiast, Toni (above center in blue). Thanks to both for assisting at the exhibit.

We also loved making the acquaintance of a few new resources, and seeing Jon Davis (makeover and image expert) from Austin, Texas and her assistant Mechelle, once more. We debuted a lovely new pink Bella corset gown ensemble by Sharon (center of photo). Note: we can now provide matching custom opera gloves for your next corset outfit!
