Audrey Lamoureux
Audrey is a licensed mental health counselor in the state of Washington. She holds an MA in counseling and a BS in adult education. Like most of us, she was deeply in the closet for most of her early adult life, and has been working at balancing her T-life ever since going out en femme that first time way back in May, 1990. She was married to a lovely and supportive woman for over 17 years. Her wife, Laurie had known about Audrey since before they were married. No, it didn't "just happen that way." It took effort on both partners' behalf and Audrey maintains that one thing that had gone a long way toward making it easier for them was keeping the feminine side separate from the masculine side. And just how does one go about that? Good question. Come and let's explore that subject. Audrey presents: In Search of Balance Do you take as good care of your boy-clothes as you do your girl-clothes? If not, why not? This class is given by a former male to female crossdresser who was as much in love with her male side as her feminine side. For over 17 years, she'd struck a balance in her life that allowed both sides to live in harmony. This is for anyone seeking to reconcile both sides of their personality into a harmonious whole. We can't guarantee that what worked for her will work for you, but it may provide a starting point. This group is mainly for crossdressers and their wives/girlfriends. All are welcome, but those in transition will find little of interest. Wives and significant others are welcome and encouraged to attend as you may be a crucial member of the team. Bring your willingness to explore your boy-self in light of your femininity. Transgender Documentation An overview of the process of changing your name on a variety of documents that serve to establish your identity, from driver's licenses to Social Security cards, to passports. Even Military retired ID cards! If you're beginning the process of living full time in the gender role opposite that of your birth, come in and learn. If you have information on this process, come in and share! |
