Fran Solomon,
Ph.D.

Fran teaches environmental biology at the University
of British Columbia. She has been active in the National Organization
for Women (NOW) for 37 years. She is a fellow of the Association for Women
In Science (AWIS), a founder of the Seattle chapter and a member of the
national and local boards of AWIS. She also serves on the board of Washington
NOWPAC. She is a co-author of "Woman, Assert Yourself".
Terry Folsom, Ph.D.

Terry has the good fortune to have married Fran
and shares an office with her at UBC. Terry prefers to check the "none
of the above" box when asked about gender. Terry has been a member
of Emerald City since 2005 and is attending Esprit for the second
time. Her specialties are Artificial Intelligence and Machine Vision.
